Rab fun loving guy that due to unforeseen circumstances had to be returned to us. He was originally found abandoned in a home along with his sister. When they came to us Rab was underweight and had a severe skin infection due to the fleas. Then one day he was adopted but due to his new family having problems he had to be returned to us.

Pi was an owner surrender when her owner could no longer care for her due to health issues. Pi takes a little bit of time to warm up to someone new. She has only known her mom and is still very confused. She would do better in a home where she is the only cat.

Fabio came to the rescue along with 7 other guinea pigs after they no longer could care for so many of them. Fabio is about 6-7 months old and is still learning to trust people. Once you have him in his arms he will curl up and relax. He is just looking for a home to call his own

2nd Chance Animal Rescue is about giving animals a second chance at finding their forever homes. We promote spaying and neutering of all animals, that is why each one of our animals are up to date on shots and spayed/neutered before they are available for adoption. We are a not-for-profit animal rescue and we are supported by donations from the community. Our team continues to feverishly fight animal cruelty, homelessness, and sickness in Wayne County.


2nd Chance Animal Rescue is operated by The Board.
